JOSE URGED TO STAY AT WEIGHT

Jose Aldo has been urged by his coach Andre Pederneir as to keep on competing and fighting for the 145 pound title till the point he is finally promoted to be installed as the contender for the Frankie Edgar’s title. This Ultimate fighting championship featherweight champion has been requested by his coach to think before he makes any decision because there is no point leaving what one has and then not getting what one wants also.

Andre has also made it clear in his interview that he has seen Jose Aldo practice a lot since he joined the MMC and does not want him to fall back all the way just because of a silly mistake. If he gives up his 145 pound title and does not get any assurance for the Frankie Edgar title, he might have to start back all the way for the feather weight championship. This will be extremely disheartening. Andre has put his foot down to make sure that Jose does not leave his current title to practice for the new one. However, the matters would not lie in Andre’s hand forever and he cannot rule out the fact that Jose might leave the team and club and join hands with another to prepare and practice for the Frankie Edgar title.

Andre understand the amount of effort that Jose Aldo has put in for his practice sessions and this has been reflected in his current position and scenario in the fighting championship. He does want Andre to just leave all of it for something he is quite unsure of as of now. Rather something more lucrative would be keeping the present title and trying for the new one after a while. After all, not all risks end up successful.

Focus on: Josh Koscheck

A former collegiate wrestling champion, Josh Koscheck has been fighting for the UFC at the welter weight division for quite a while now. He made his debut by appearing on the TV show of the first season of the UFC. He is currently ranked among the top 10 by some of the leading magazines such as Sher dog, MMA and various others.

His debut match ended up in a win, but his success never went far enough and he was soon defeated in the very next round by Diego Sanchez. Out of his 21 appearances, he has managed to win 16 of them and this shows that he has had a few ups and downs during his professional career and this has had an impact on his records and rankings. He has also become the NCAA division 1 champion for four consecutive times and besides this he is a three time recipient of the PSAC Wrestler of the year award. He has also won the Eastern Wrestling League Achievement twice. His style of fighting usually includes the likes of Kick boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling with an orthodox stance. Josh Koscheck has made an appearance in a music video sung by Chevelle titled Get it.

There is news for Josh in the schedule on the UFC which might not be as great to him. His fight with Condit has been cancelled and it has been rescheduled to be with Mike Pierce. This might be an interesting fight as Josh Koscheck would need to prepare and practice a lot if he wants to defeat Mike. Mike Pierce has also accused him of ducking most of the fights and would be appreciative that he is getting a chance to fight Josh and in turn manage to settle out all their petty little differences.
